Elven breastplate
This was the first large-scale (pun intended) piece of scalemail created by the minds behind Blood, Sweat, & Týr. Inspired by the colours of the Rivendell costumes in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, this pie e is made out of a mix of aluminium and stainless steel rings, with anodised aluminium scales. Between the design, actual creation, and later adjustments, this piece took around 25 hours from start to finish.
